  2.  I S  Paradise is over 100 years old so I highly doubt the police chief has anything to do with how the streets are laid out and Paradise is on a non volcanic ridge so lava has nothing to do with the fires. But you are right nature had a lot to do with it. The power lines that caused this fire were sparking days before the fire it took the 50 mph winds to get the sparks to the grass that hadn't seen rain in over 200 days

  3.  I S  actually it was Dogtown and only a small northern part. The name paradise came because it's 10 degrees cooler in the summer and 10 degrees warmer in the winter than the valley below

  6. You have my sympathy for your 110 degrees tomorrow but those orange skies don't compare to the pitch black in Paradise when the wind blew the smoke in before the fire
