Loss of employment, living standards, high cost of everyday living items and the things a person needs to survive like shelter and energy. The first distraction was the "thing", we all blamed that. Now its Russia. Lets blame Russia for the high prices. Not understanding that by placing sanctions you remove supply from the market. But its going to get a lot worse for everyone. Just wait for companies and industry to close and lay off people. We are seeing that right now in the US tens of thousands are being laid off . Now they have no income and high prices. But lets keep sending $billions every week to Ukraine

It wont change much for Europe because the Russian Foreign Minister issued a statement saying "the idea of business as usual with westerners is over" So in layman's terms, its saying...
