  5.  @everaimless  Russian has almost no casualties now. The ukraine military lost 200 a day at least. You scrape a car when it is no longer viable to repair. Lockleed Martin scam the american taxpayer with stats of the longevity of their engines and their supposed superiority to russian engines. But all the other parts of the jet need replacement and expensive maintainance. There was a report years ago stating it would be cheaper to run cheaper jet that are replaced more regularly. It would also be easier to incorporate new advance tech in new jets but that would affect the profit of Lockleed.
