@bradbullock8696 yes we are. I would normally be very happyto include Denmark. However, the Danish pm refuses to discuss the topic. In 2009, the Danes passed a law that if Greenlanders vote for independence they will approve. Regardless, of that under international law, as an ex colony, Greenland can declare independence and the US can recognize their independence. TLDR Denmark refuses to take part in negotiations and they are not needed.

@DennisRønnebæk no it gives them the right to independence. Regardless, Greenland is an ex colony and under international law. They have a right to declare independence, just like America did in 1776. Then Denmark can either use force or accept reality.

Do you think this is more a decision for Danes or Greenlanders?

@DennisRønnebæk Regardless, they are well within their rights to leave. They have the highest suicide rate in the world and say that Danes have not treated them well. They have clearly been treated as a colony
