In 1953, a UN force including troops from many European countries negotiated a ceasefire, not a peace. On paper it is still a UN force but all of the Europeans left generations ago but Americans are still there in force. Why should Americans provide security in Europe when Europeans do not have a track record of keeping security agreements. Are these nations still in the UN?
