By the way, in 1953, when the ceasefire was negotiated, it was a UN command with Americans supplying the backbone but actually contingents from many European countries but all left within 2 to 3 years. Now in 2025, it is still a UN command but since the fifties the only foreign troops are Americans and we are still there in force. There are reasons why neither zelensky or the european leaders making commitments view them as not having much value. You reap what you sow.
