Both polls that I have seen indicate that a majority of Greenlanders would prefer to be with the US over Denmark and that is before hearing any offer. The Danish pm has refused to discuss the topic for years and in 2009 Denmark preapproved sovereignty if Greenland votes for it. This is a negotiation between Greenland and the US. Also the Danish pm has repeatedly refused to discuss it so she took Denmark out of negotiations. Negotiations should be between the US and Greenland and after offers are made the people of Greenland should vote
