  1. The series was incredibly eye opening. The men make camp near water, chose a leader, designated group roles, built raised beds and waterproof shelter, maintained fire 24 hours by rota, filtered and boiled water, hunted a caiman and built fishing nets for unlimited fish. A little fighting was the worst of it but they thrived and had fun. The women refused to make a leader, walked around in circles for days, slept on the jungle floor with the bugs spooning each other, got rained on and couldn't sleep during night storms, let the fire go out, half starved and poisoned from unfiltered water, "found" piglets and kept as pets instead of food, constant fighting and refused to work hard to sunbathe.
