  1. He probably doesn't work at Blizzard anymore because after that refusal to do what his bosses' boss told him to say, he was targeted to be eliminated by any means possible. Most likely through some kind of trumped up charge of insubordination. The people in the high positions of power don't care about anything outside of their own power and how they wield it, dare you not bend the knee as their employee and they will see you removed, regardless of the logic they will seek to maintain power through compliance.
