American men put up with so much crap because they are afraid to react. Try this anywhere else in the world and most men wouldn't hesitate to inflict consequences.

@selbie As men we joke around physically all the time. With a stranger it's not clear if they are joking or not. Considering 99% of the time it is a joke, it makes it hard to know what is happening. If this was a women doing this though we would immediately understand this is not a joke.
