  1. The problem with cleaning is like any other maintenance in life. You have to do it again and again, then again and again, constantly through life. If you just stop, you save an insane amount of time over a long period of time. However you quickly start living and feeling like an animal. Humans like clean, there's no doubt it has an effect on our mood. But it requires regular effort. Most people only do it for other people to appreciate and to avoid negative social commentary, it's hard to just do it for yourself.
