  7. No, they didn’t. Vietnam wasn’t a war. Do they not teach history in public schools anymore? We never lost a war to “rice farmers.” Same with the Middle East. The war was fought and won in a day. Then the clean up took nearly 30 years. And we finally said F it and left. Do you understand if the US actually wanted either land to “conquer” then it would have happened in weeks?
