Who is supporting this war? Even the conservatives would rather use all that money to house veterans and take care of our own. We have military bases around the world because of the Cold War. The US has mostly been a force for good around the world. Except now. The US tried it’s hand in imperialism back at the turn of the 20th century. The majority of the country (back then) demanded the government to stop what they were doing. We went to war with Spain to free their colonies and the gov tried taking them as their own. The power of the people out a stop to it. Now our government doesn’t give a damn about the individual citizen.
