  1. There were plans for a shared universe or a justice movie but it just never got off the ground. I think it was around the late 90’s there were talks about it but Batman and Robin derailed it just enough. I think there were plans to continue the Batman story into a shared universe or a justice league movie. Instead they decided to reboot Batman. But the animated universe is awesome and much better than the live action movies.

  2. I can’t believe I read through these arguments. How pathetic is your life that you celebrate someone’s (a real life person) failure. MCU had a formula that’s been successful for the casual fan. Iron Man is popular because Robert Downey and Superman is so iconic there was always going to be fallout from the fan base no matter what. The MCU wouldn’t be possible without Batman 89. Just enjoy the fact that we have comic book heroes on the big screen. Jesus, what a bunch of cunts
