It was to build rapport with him and get him to confess.

This comment needs to be pinned. A lot of the psychological disorders have become buzzwords. Not many people know their true meanings.

God bless Harriet for having the strength to call for help. Public hangings should be brought back for crimes like this
16
I live in a state where the feds placed a bunch of refugees like this. The crime went up and it’s no longer safe to be in that area. It’s frustrating to have this happen.

@360.Tapestry It definitely makes an argument for sterilization..
10
@03nowwow Yeah they do. It was because of those colonizers that those places had a better shot at doing well. Don’t let hate blind you to the truth
10
Looks like a case of meth
9
Except we never heard any of the actual evidence in the trial. Weird how two separate juries convicted him.
5
“That white girl”- they know her name. These people are disgusting
5
@kwent86 I’m not serious but..really? Have you ever seen the cracked out mom with 9 kids? Or the meth’d out mom having kids every single year?
4
This also shows that eye witness testimony isn’t all garbage. Dude nailed the description
4
Wasn’t like he wasn’t trying to solve a double murder or anything…
4
No one is doing 20 years for weed. Most of those “20 year sentences” are a product of the 3 strikes rule.
4
An attorney is never a bad option
3
She did. Who thinks the operator is the one who comes to the scene?
3
@drakev. Then you don’t understand investigations or prosecutions.
3
@drakev. What would he be convicted for? Tampering with evidence? Abuse of a corpse? Would it be easier to convict if he confesses or if you have to spend a million or two in court trying to piece it all together without his confession? Take a second and think instead of reacting to skin color or cop hatred.
3
Her confession was blown because of that lady? Is she the juvenile justice caseworker? Lady should know her role before doing her job.
3
They put a 14 yr old in an adult prison? Oh yeah, he’ll be more messed up going than coming
3
@tmorelli1982 Yep. It’s the new term everyone uses
2
@WETT0 Haha, totally. Bi polar was the big one about 10 years ago. It seemed like every single kid had it. PTSD was getting really popular but the veterans (as portrayed in media) started giving it a serious slant. Trans/queer is now the most popular
2
@troybullard9631 It’s amazing. Diversity is our “strength” after all…
2
Because he did it. His story didn’t match the evidence.
2
@mkat8505 Some did, for sure. The British empire is usually the main subject when the word colonizer is brought up. That wasn’t the purpose of colonization. When humans are involved those things will inevitably happen.
2
Evidence points to her being stabbed twice. Most of the people don’t speak up becaue they’ve already plead guilty. The ones who deny deny deny will often take interviews
2
Seriously!? Does he own the house!?! How the hell would she know if she was abducted. Sometimes people can be mental
2
How do you help a child in your situation? What would have changed your parents’ treatment of you? Taking that child out of the home may save them for a time but what about the others? There has to be a better process.
1
You can tell this isn’t a professional video. Zero experts were interviewed to describe the behavior of the suspects. Just assumptions made, some bad ones at that.
1
Lol
1
The grandparents are not legally required to care for the child of the parent is present. The parent is the caregiver
1
@TheNester. In the state of UT, the parents are responsible not the grandparents. Unless the grandparents were given custody. It’s the law
1
@TheNester. Right. Which means the father is responsible for their wellbeing, not the grandparents. Now, as a community, we can shame the grandparents and say they were in the wrong but legally the father is responsible. That’s all I’m saying
1
She sounds like someone in denial that her mother is a murderer
1
That juror is saying he will not listen to anyone else’s opinion or point of view. He is saying he won’t deliberate. That’s why he was ousted. He cannot read the judge’s mind.
1
Research shows that Whites are the most unbiased of the races. Weird how no one mentions that.
1
People are allowed to let others watch their children. Unless AB was in state custody then no one would know to check on him
1
Because inmates have phones, iPads, computers with internet access.
1
@norscout3031 WTF is wrong with you? Explain the racism, please. Because it’s pretty rich coming from a pedophile like you
1
Parole after 13 years?? How
1
This is sad but she needs mental health attention not police intervention and jail. We need to take a step back and rethink what we are doing.
1
@mkat8505 How much do you know about non European colonization? Maybe look into that and see how different they were. I’m not arguing human nature with you (skin color isn’t a factor).
1
@03nowwow Yeah because research is too difficult for you
1
@DavidArmenta78 Probably.
1
@lizzzb8620 Oh my gawd, he didn’t confess to how and why he did that or to the murder. He confessed to possession. Please, know WTF is going on before you comment stupidity.
1
@lizzzb8620 It is a full forehead smack moment. You don’t have any clue on how investigations work. If you had read some of the comments then you would have pieced it together. They need as much info as possible and to have the person who did the killing describe exactly HOW it happened and describe his MOTIVE then it will help in the trial and may even make him plead guilty. Then the family and the community will have as much info and as many answers as they can. Just having a dead body isn’t enough to prove murder.
1
I’ve had friends take ambien (prescribed) and have done some crazy things while sleep walking. One buddy made a an entire meal (slicing meat and roasting bread) and had no idea what they had done.
1
Exactly! It’s no wonder she had a mental break. Some of these other people are putting the dog over people and it’s crazy, literally.
1
Ed Kemper killed his grandparents at age 12. He then got out of the psych ward at 18 and later killed his mother. He also cut her head off and had sex with it. He had been killing college girls up to that point. After killing his mother he turned himself in.
1
An assault bolt action, 10 rd clip, A-15 rifle… turns out to be an SKS.
1
It’s a balance. The government cannot raise everyone and it really isn’t their responsibility to do so. And all those “services” cost money. Look at all the services available in CA and see how they have to borrow money from the feds each month just to stay out of bankruptcy.
1
Normally, the animal torture or killing comes in adolescence and not when they are 40. This is obviously a mental health crisis. Did none of you listen to the beginning and how her sister was brutally murdered?
1
Do attorneys not exist in that town?
