  1.  @jvlovesk  Utah is in a weird position. Since 2000, the population has nearly doubled and a large portion of that is mostly Californians moving in. The Salt Lake City metro is liberal/progressive and the rest of the state is like 95% red. Historically, UT has voted like 80% for republican presidents. This last election was 60/40. In about 15 years, the state will be like any other liberal run state. Meaning high crime in the major cities and low crime and safe everywhere else.

  2. He was the Lt gov and that’s why he was voted in. He was basically the second in command to the past gov. People typically don’t like change…

  4.  @jvlovesk  There are only so many places to live since like 75% of the state is federal lands. UT is a weird place
