@valarieknight7990 Where are you getting your stats? Sincerely. I’ve worked in such a field for over a decade and men vastly our number women in raw numbers. Statistically, step father or boyfriend is the most likely to abuse a child. It is true, however, that we are seeing an increase in female perpetrators in out of home sexual abuse cases. Mostly from women in positions of trust like teacher, school employee, etc but still men lead in those categories. It’s important to remember that the number of non abusers vastly outnumber the abusers but I haven’t seen any studies (gov stats or otherwise) to show that women now lead in those categories.

@julielaythe704 I won’t disagree with what you’ve seen but she made claims about abuse of children. That’s usually reported and that’s usually how we keep track of those cases. There are also other ways from self reporting, etc but the numbers I deal with don’t show what she’s claiming so I just asked where she was getting it so I could look at it too. If it’s true then that’s what matters. But I definitely see a pattern developing about young men are not dating like they used to because of this new view of young women that’s emerging. There is a change in culture and how men and women (younger) interact.

@jenalatz3589 Yeah. I cannot tell you how many times young kids have been preyed on because of that

@WreckingCrewResurgen No. Women do get charged. It’s just not quite as often as men. I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen. I know personally of many cases where the woman was the primary aggressor. Sometimes they are convicted and sometimes not. I’m not trying to say men are bad or not as good as women. I’m just going by the stats and my own personal experience. But, I do think we are experiencing a change in culture where I see more women acting how men used to act. I haven’t quantified anything yet but I’ve noticed a pattern of overly aggressive females in certain situations.
