  5. @Skelley-Priest Atheism isn’t a religion. There was a movement (helped by YouTube) a few years back where people were just trying to find the truth. A lot of them came from different Christian denominations and were looking for answers (right or wrong). It started as individuals looking for answers and as it grew suddenly a certain group demanded that this atheist community needed certain principles to be abided and then it grew into atheism+ and then splintered from there but the term atheist just means someone who doesn’t believe in god (layman’s term). Most people would be categorized as agnostic by strict dictionary definitions but in practice they refer to themselves as atheist.
