  4. States side missions are some of the most difficult. Foreign missions are seen as better or higher on the pecking order. I can relate to the disappointment of going stateside.

  6. Most of you have no idea what you’re talking about. I get why you call Mormons a cult but this isn’t a tiny backwoods organization. Everything is very ordered and organized. Mission work isn’t easy and it isn’t meant to be. All of this is known to you before you go. It’s a gross mischaracterization to call it human trafficking.

  10. Interracial marriage wasn’t a “sin” per se. It definitely was frowned upon but it wasn’t a sin. Most of it had to do with cultural differences. There are plenty of gay and rebellious kids who are still accepted by their families. Maybe I had a completely different experience but we never had these issues.
