  1. KayJ Gamespell Interesting. Most gun deaths are from suicides. In Alaska, there were 180 gun deaths and 117 of those from suicide. Same for the other ‘red’ states listed there. It’s the same for poverty rates. Now break it down by county and even city and the stats will amaze you. Some of these poor states have lower crime rates when you break it down by county or city. Look at the demographics of each and the crime rates. You’ll be surprised by what you find. Plus, I’m not sure what your purpose was to show this. If you break it down there isn’t much of a difference. Is your point to say ‘white people do it to’ or that republicans are just as bad?

  2. KayJ Gamespell Is that what you thought people were bitching about? A football player kneeling at a football game? How about a multimillionaire, raised in privilege, disrespecting the National Anthem because he believed in a narrative spun by the left. GTF outta here race vulture. The government does not need to give these people anymore aid. Why would more money change this area? How much gov aid do they already receive? And which cities are worse? Point to the city and I’ll bet that city or district is run by a Democrat.

The guy that was adopted by white parents, raised in privilege, went to the college of his choice, made millions playing a game and heard all of this non sense about police unfairly targeting colored people (which simply is not true of you look at the actual statistics) and then decided to disrespect the National Anthem of a country that has strived to treat people equally under the law. He has the right to protest and people had the right to disagree with his protest. Per capita, whites are killed now by law enforcement. The media was making appear that blacks were being killed every day by police for just being black and that simply did not pan out when you looked at the evidence of each case. It was the same BS that Lebron James pulled with the protest of “hands up, don’t shoot” t-shirt and that narrative proved to be false as well. If you cannot see the identity politics at play here then I cannot help you. The Gov has always been corrupt and it is not just Dems or Republicans, it’s both. Maybe you think that America is a white supremacist country. Maybe you haven’t looked at our history to understand why things have happened the way they have and why they changed.

  4. KayJ Gamespell I see. Guns are bad for everyone but the government. Suicides wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for guns. Demographics are racist. Because large cities add more to the total you want to look at entire states. Anything else I miss? We can agree on this: We will not see eye to eye because no matter how many gun deaths there are I will not give up the right of self defense or the ability to thwart tyranny. It was best said as ‘those willing to sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither.’ We may also agree that republicans are just as corrupt as democrats. But my answer to that problem is less government, not more. Did you even look at those states (even the top 3) to see where the poverty intersects with crime? Did you see the break down of votes and who was voting for which side? Do you even care?
