  1. My only problem with this is that I’m a Ford fanboy and my 5.4 3V is recommended to have 5W-20 by Ford. I know if I hadn’t switched to 5W-30 I would have seen the dreaded VVT ticking and eventual failure. I guess all I’m trying to say is that a little research goes a long way. Ford recommends 5W-30 everywhere else. Just make sure that you’re following the manufacturers recommendations but do it in a smart way..
