Even the article you linked starts out with admitting AOC was telling New Yorkers to go out and not be afraid but in March she changed her tune. THIS is how poisonous the media has become. Us moderates have been hit the hardest and we need to stop fighting each other. A lot of people that don’t even like Donald Trump have figured out that the left has shifted too far to the extreme left.

Take into account the tuition only for 4 years of college and that’s more than enough of compensation plus the everything else on top of that then I’d say it’s fair. They also have to pay the NCAA too. You folks make it sound like these players are being treated like chattel

How much does it cost to maintain those colleges? Pay coaches, staff, trainers,etc? It’s not the NFL which is a paid profession. The NFL is part of the payoff. And so what if they are poor? They have the opportunity to get a degree and lift themselves out of poverty. Isn’t that compensation? Seeing a product isn’t a comparable.

Funny because some would argue that Austin is one of the worst places because of that. We are in serious trouble in the US. We should criticize our government for their mistakes but we should also be correct about them. If we should stay out of that area of the globe completely, then we need to stop being allies with Israel. And it wouldn’t hurt to be energy independent.

  42. Kyle Snyder I don’t think Trump called COVID a hoax but the leftist media’s coverage of it was a hoax. This is where we are as Americans. It is so decisive. The leftist media (in parts) is still trying to spin talking points into a narrative or twist what’s going on just to hurt Trump. It ends up splintering us Americans and putting us against one another. I for one have never liked Donald Trump. But I have tried to give President Trump a chance. The left started to tear him apart before his inauguration and they haven’t stopped since.

He gave an interview last year admitting that he lied about the masks so that the hospital staff would have enough and there wouldn’t be a panic buy of masks. Fauci himself admitted to it. The fact you can’t admit that shows me that nothing will convince you otherwise. This wasn’t a case of more information coming in and outdated facts were being replaced. The dude straight up mislead the American public.
