I don’t agree at all with the analysis of the Floyd trial but addicts are able to take a lot for a long period of time. They are also able to operate cars more effectively than a non addict taking the same amount. There is evidence of this. But I’m not saying addicts cannot die. Because they can. There is such a thing as stacking and eventually you get to a certain point long enough and your heart shuts down.

It depends on the amount. There is a limit to what your system can take within a certain time period. Some drugs are out of your system in 24-48 hrs while others take 24-48 days. There are certain opioids that don’t get out of your system and they build up until you shut down and die.

  17.  @jamesandrews8655  Yes. “With prejudice” means that the state cannot re-try the case. But, to get the judge to rule favorably, the defense has to show that the state is either intentionally causing a mistrial because they ‘are not winning’ or they have intentionally ‘sabotaged the defenses case.’ That’s the best layman terms I could think of at the moment. Mistrials happen a lot. But rarely do they happen ‘with prejudice.’ I hope this makes sense.

But this woman was not a caregiver/caretaker and she has zero responsibility over another adult and the teenager in the other adults care. This is 100% overreach. We can sit back and say that the lady shouldn’t have done that because it wasn’t a wise decision but to charge her criminally is three levels above that. We have to look at the effect it will have on this case and all cases in the future. It’s a bad decision, to me.

This is a complex issue and I get tired of people saying that it’s all from “the white liberal.” When it’s actually from these racists in the black community. They are looking at patterns of behavior and are noticing that in all White areas they don’t have these problems. You can walk around poor white areas and not get robbed, graped and/or murdered. What you are seeing is a realization, from a generation who has been gaslighted into believing white males are the danger to America, that it’s actually not them. It may make you ANGRY because you have been conditioned by your own people to believe you are relentless victims all the time everywhere and you don’t like it when Whites start acting as a group because it means you can no longer victimize them.
