  13. I’m still confused how this is a “white” issue? Will we ever wake up and stop blaming “whites” for all the problems in this country? This narrative of everything is a white supremacy issue has been deep in the black community for decades. We are in single digits of unarmed blacks being killed in this country while nearly triple that number for whites being killed. The racism from the black community was the last hurdle for the US and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere anytime soon.

It’s time we hold minorities accountable for being individuals and not groups. That’s where we failed but the rest of the system was fine.   43.  @thephilosopher7173  Good point. Here’s what I’m t try Ingersol to say: I work in gov doing investigations. I’ve learned that government is not one big organization where information flows freely through their one system. Government agencies are like different countries who will sometimes work together on shared topics but each agency/department/division is doing their own thing without the knowledge of the other. I cannot tell you how many times people get upset about my department not knowing everything another one has done, is doing and will do. But they say they and them and think (not out of simplicity or shortcuts) that it’s all the same organization because it’s gov. People do this with race, ethnicity and gender. Hopefully that’s coherent.

The police stop an obvious bad guy and the town gets burned down because the color was all wrong. For some people it’s easier to put your head on the sand than to stand up for what’s right.
