It’s weird because we get immigrants from Nigeria and they actually become doctors, lawyers and do really well here. Same with other African countries. Actually, now that I think of it, most immigrants do fairly well here in the US. Why is it only one specific group who doesn’t???

I can believe this. Some females can be the most selfish people on the planet. Most criminals have a code of conduct and this would be on the list of things not to do.

@phann860 It could also be that they are constantly being told they are constant victims of racism and can never get a head in life. No matter what they do they are always going to be judged differently because of their skin color. Wouldn’t that have a huge negative impact of your life if that’s all you heard. So every time you failed, whether it was getting a traffic ticket to not getting a job or promotion that would always be on your mind that it had to do with your race. I see that as the final obstacle that they have to overcome. It may be the most difficult one because it’s internal.
