  1. As a former step-dad, I can say without a doubt that what that man said is true; "Step dads are men that women wouldn't date if they didn't have kids". I was as much a dad in the minds of my ex and her kid as a pet dog would've been, and treated better if I were a dog.

  2.  @sergeipohkerova7211  You sir, are exactly right. The ex couldn't care less about me after I signed the contract. What amazes me is that she thought I would put up with it forever. Granted, I was a simp for marrying a SM, but I wised up eventually. BTW, this was 34 years ago. I never got married again.

  4.  @TheFrayman  Some stay and some leave. I left. It took a while to wise up and delete the programming that was downloaded into my brain as I grew up that women were special beings. When I realized the truth I really lived my life. That was 35 years ago and I never married again so I am a happy man today.
