  2. GTRs don't have the gear to run this type of speed. Once again, this is just a 2R. Which now make what 3Rs use to make. If you push this Proline V10 like AMS is pushing their 4.0 you'll be making upwards of 2500whp.

  3. Yuri's GTR makes right at 1350whp, not 1550. The Alpha 12+ doesn't have turbos large enough to make 1700hp.

  7. Hennessey has it at 267mph officially. Heffners ran 271 so they say out in Miami, that car makes more hp than Hennessey's car. Fucking PPR. I thought Guiness was actually there for the run and everything, but they just took Johny and his little standing mile things word. PPR tried to run out at Texas, failed, tried again, failed, tried in Miami, failed, so he then went to a private event and suddenly ran 283 mph? Come on xD

  12. I would't say it's going to piss on it. They're pushing just over 2000hp through the GTR right now without even going to a billet block like UGR uses in these Gallardos. Wait until Switzer starts using billet blocks before saying that. Think about it though, The alpa 12+ that was just beaten out by that 2005hp Gallardo only made 1300whp. Omega puts down near 1800. Shit Jamie's new car he's bringing to Tx2k14 just put down 1760whp with a 3.8L, and no sleeves.

  13. Alpha Omega made 1600whp a couple years ago, it's upwards of 1800whp now which translates to over 2000hp. /watch?v=lzaxcCyOBVU Switzer's beast put down 1760whp which also translates to over 2000hp, and that's running an unsleeved 3.8 block. Learn some shit before posting stupid shit.

  14. Nera pulled a 1.7 0-60 racing Yuri's(?) Alpha 12 on dragtimes with a 6 speed. They haven't been able to pull the same power out of the Aventador yet, but they're trying. The Aventador right now only makes 1200whp while they have 3Rs making over 2000whp. When they come out with a 2000whp Aventador it will be faster than a Gallardo, but until that day it's not faster.

  15. Look at the time frame it took AMS to break 7s and the frame it took UGR to break 8s. Give them the same time UGR has had with the Gallardos and they'll have just as many on the street. UGR won't race their shop car on the streets either AMS tries to steer customers away from the Omega because it's like buying a 3R, which there is only 1 of. AMS said they would bring it to KOTS again, when that happens unless they break they'll win. UGR and AMS have only attended one event together lol.

  18. If they ran the Omega at this event, it would easily take this record right back. That Alpha 12+ was about a second slower than this car with 700 less hp. Omega also ran 0-300 2 full seconds faster than that car.

  19. It wouldn't surprise me too much. That car is geared for the mile so 60 comes in 1st gear, launching off the two step that hard will pull that, but the first shift he made the GTR took off xD. I can't wait either! I've been hoping to see Switzer back in the big number game. Oh! Do you know if Total Race will bring their AWD S7 monster to the next event? It'll destroy everything, but it's a straight race car.

  20. Oh! There was one TT Ford GT, but it was a stock engine build, thaaaaat crashed that same year (RIP). I wish they would! Those guys have plenty of money to, but the problem is this is an ET event not speed. Even Heffners GT was only running 23 second miles and that's probably the baddest FGT ever built.

  21. The car's engine wasn't the problem, a small rubber diaphragm ripped and leaned the engine out. You think running the car on the dyno is harder than back to back 1/4 mile pulls? They beat that engine to death on the dyno pushing 1600whp, ran the mile, then to TI without changing anything but plugs and oil. It's yet to actually break after seeing more track time than any UGR car. In the US you won't hear of anything going wrong with them,

  28. That's true. When they run the mile they were around what 1300whp as well? I can't say just how much testing the Omega has been put through. But I'm amazed at the power they're making alread. I mean the GTR has only been out 4 years and is making 2000hp with the factory block! I also dunno if Mullet drives his Gallardo like he drives his Ford GT. That thing he drove eevverryywheerre. As far as better to drive on the streets, I have no idea :D

  30. Do you mean put those power levels down? Sal is making over 3000hp with his Viper on the stock block. Frank put 1700 to the ground on what, 21psi spinning on the dyno in his Viper. Ray was putting 2000+hp to the ground with his Ford GT years ago. Shit that red Supra put 1700 to the ground before GTRs even came out lol.

  33. I still don't believe that run. The 1700hp they're claiming is nowhere near enough to his 280mph. There's no video or anything of that and wasn't done at the Texas mile. That's why Heffners 267mph run was disregarded
