I agree. It was a brilliant fireworks of a fight. But I was surprised that Fury didn't show his technical skills and he had no defense... He even allowed Wilder to control the distance in round 1, which he didn't allow in the first two fights from the time the bell rang...

@Tom You're absolutely right about that, and that can explain why he never switched to southpaw, but that doesn't explain why Fury didn't use his 85 reach to the fullest because all he had to do was to use his jab to control Wilder's right hand and deactive it by placing it above Wilder's right shoulder while controlling the distance as well, which is something he did in the first two fights...

@Tom That's a good point. And Fury always wins the first round, and when Wilder clearly started strong it may have confused Fury's rhytm to be technically defensive while being offensive. Just watched Fury vs Klitschko again. Even though Fury is more aggressive now with short inside punches, I miss watching him exctend his punches by throwing long jabs and hooks while moving clockwise and do faints with the right hand in a southpaw stance. And his bobbing and weaving while being awkward and unpredictable. He gotta move in and out more all with the use of his jabs in his next fight because his jab is his best weapon followed up with everything else afterwards...

@r.j.v.d.b5228 You're right, but Fury managed to be exciting and be aggressive in the second fight with the use of his skills more than his heart, toughness and grit like it was shown in this done. All I'm saying is that he didn't have to take all this damage in the third fight if he had used his jab from the start, moving in and out by being much more defensive, better footwork and done a lot of faints. All this was done perfectly in the second fight.

@EveryoneneedsaGary You're right. But the performance against Schwarz was brilliant and yet too defensive for the kronk style Sugar teaches Fury. Fury has basically beaten Wilder 3 times, and the only way to get a ko against him was to move forward and never take a step backwards because Wilder is the most dangerous when he gets distance for his right hand and not on the inside. That's why Fury mostly threw short, inside punches instead of extending them since Wilder isn't a good inside fighter unless he cathes you on back of the head. When Fury fights Joshua, Usyk and Whyte, he could mix it up more but he is gonna be aggressive in all his fights from now. I only want him to be more defensive while being offensive and everything gotta be done behind his long jab, which is his best weapon. He got an 85 reach and should use it almost every second to match his timing and while closing the distance when moving in and out, and when adjustments are done by switching stances/faints/changing angles and etc...

@RockyAliTyson1 Lol, nope. The reason for Fury having a perfect performance in the second fight was because of his faints, long jabs, switching of stances, and great footwork where he fought at a short and middle distance. And he adjusted all the time with his jab. And he used both defense and offense together. The most important thing was that he always controlled the distance. He didn't do all of this until later on and still didn't use his jab and faints enough. Can't believe how he just walked into Wilder's right hand without using his jab to blind him and control Wilder's wild counters and Fury was too stationary during the clinches, which made him get caught for the second knockdown in round 4 as well...
