New fans won't understand how big this fight really was. Conor was the double champ and P4P number 1 until he got stripped, and he was also known as the best striker we had seen in MMA along with Anderson long before Adesanya and Alex arrived... And everyone started to acknowledge the legend of Khabib with this fight, and he was mostly underappreciated before this fight, unfortunately. Conor cheated throughout this fight, Khabib should have gotten a tko win as well at the end of round 2, but since Herb Dean allowed all the dirty tricks to happen, he got submitted in round 4, which also ruined the case for a rematch afterwards, not to mention that Khabib also neglected it...

@zedzed5 Conor was literally P4P number 1 not too long before this fight and was a double champ for almost two years before he got stripped. Prime Conor was literally during 2013-2018...

@ethanzahra7248 Just wanted to tell you that you're wrong. Never understood Islam being better than Khabib when he only does more kicking and also have more of a defensive approach but lacks Khabib's granite chin, cardio and fight IQ. Last time I checked; Khabib still makes the gameplans for Islam and it was never the other way around...

@ethanzahra7248 Conor was literally the best striker we had seen in MMA along with Anderson when Khabib fought him long before even Adesanya and Alex had arrived. Didn't Khabib knock Conor down in round 2, and . outstruck Gaethje or something like that, and jabbed Iaquinta's ears off and picked him apart with his striking?!? Khabib and Islam are completely different. Khabib is a southpaw on the ground and actually has several submission wins from the back mount position unlike Islam that has ZERO submission wins from the back (which explains Alex doing ground and pound on him in round 5 with ZERO danger back at him) and he is a southpaw during his standup only unlike Khabib that has an ortodox stance during his standup. When it comes to the ground control, half guard positions and side control; Khabib is clearly better. Islam uses the full guard positions much more. But Islam does more judo throws, sweps, hooks and trips because he can't use the fence like Khabib. And when it comes to their striking; Islam uses the kicks and punches more to do damage along with using the clinches for the takedowns unlike Khabib that uses kicks, knees and his boxing to setup his takedowns. And etc..
