Actually if you are very poor, you can get medicaid. If you're wealthy obviously you get health care. A lot of people in the middle get nothing.

the military budget was what, about 700 billion? 3% of that would be... 21 billion, or about $70 per person. I don't think we can fund medicare for all with $70 per person per year.

@fsaari Yes that is a good idea. We should start by closing loopholes, or else any raised rates will just go poof into the accounting magic of the big firms. I actually like a national consumption tax instead of income tax.
