  5. Yes. Case Fatality Rate (2.3%) is a very poor estimate of Infection Fatality Rate or "true rate." . Countries need to do more random invitation surveys to measure the infection numbers. Without those kind of surveys the case numbers are not even close to the truth.

  8. He said that part wrong. It does not mutate in a direction to become more infectious. . The mutations are random, but natural selection may give a direction to what mutations survive better.

  10.  @Marco-it2mr  If the predicting ability was so good why do we keep having wave after wave? . I am a big fan of public health. It works. But few countries are even counting infection cases properly. It is hard to avoid what is not being measured.
