Tiny Hands doesn't want war, he would be out of his element. Everyone around him would know more about it than him. He just wants to look tough. He could make a big mistake though.

< Keep in mind that polling is a science> I disagree. Analyzing poll numbers is a science, but designing the questions is an art. Also the sampling design is very much in flux now, with cell phones etc. Unfortunately there were so many push-polls and other fake crap, it poisoned the well for the real polls that tried to be scientific and ask straight up questions. That was part of the atmosphere you describe where Trump voters maybe didn't want to answer polls. I also saw supposedly good polls that didn't call anyone under 35. There is a lot of semi-junk polling that looks good until you read the methods. Another example of semi-junk polling: TONS of them asked "If the election were held today..." but that is counter-factual. It is a false premise. They should ask, "Who do you plan to vote for...." A false premise encourages people to give fanciful answers.

What did he say on Tuesday? Was that first Kim saying "ok we won't hit guam... not now." and Trump saying that was a "wise and well considered position."? I think i got the quotes a bit wrong but that's the gist, right. If so I agree that not covering that in this context is bad journalism.
