She didn't actually lie about it, she's got a couple %. But she did handle it with not a lot of sensitivity or understanding, going way back to the cook book days.

@kayomholt-montague7661 Both seem likeable, and both seem kinda moderate. But I hear Pete talk, for minutes at a time, without giving any facts or plans. Warren is equally vague (at least on foreign policy). It's important to be able to small talk and shmooze, but where's the beef? If there's no beef, we can assume it's the usual bull.

@TheBashar327 "If you are pregnant, have been pregnant, or may become pregnant, and if your employer has 15 or more employees, you are protected against pregnancy-based discrimination and harassment at work under federal law. You may also have a legal right to work adjustments that will allow you to do your job without jeopardizing your health. " So federal law does include your point about small employers. It's built in to the system now. As far as "socialized special privileges," it's not very special at all: every one of us was a pregnancy. I'm cool with the law, as long as the dads also get time off.

aaronsdavis Q: "Who has even had their career damaged for telling the truth?" A: "Veteran reporter Sarah Wallace, who won 13 Emmys and a Peabody over 30 years for WABC in New York, claimed she was “fired for telling the truth” about a wrongful murder conviction." A: "Dexter Ford was a three-decades-long veteran of Motorcyclist, a motorcycle enthusiast magazine, until he was fired in September. Now, recently-revealed email exchanges indicate he was canned after a motorcycle helmet story he wrote for The New York Times angered advertisers." The boss who fired Dexter emailed, "I know what you wrote for the NYT is accurate. But..." you're fired.

@charlesvan13 As far as Native American identity is concerned, the tribes can and do set their own standards for who qualifies. As far as the general US, one drop ten drops whatever, it's all silly and useless. We're American.

@seancarson1212 Senator Clinton, you have done enough. Have you no sense of decency ma'am, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?

@shr00mhead Yes, it was President Cheney. And a network of villains from decades of operations and allegiances. It was a highly organized and effective shadow regime, except it failed at actually doing stuff. The big fat warriors couldn't run a war, or they'd still be in charge.

@earledward5763 Exactly! McCarthyism 2.0. Hillary won't run but she can smear all the better from afar. Or so she thought.

@TheBashar327 The point my deer captain, is just to show what the law is. Good, bad or indifferent, there does exist a law on that exact topic. You said its hurting small companies, but the law exempts them if they are under 15 employees. How is this law giving big companies an advantage?
