@proximacentauri3627 I watched a bunch of them. Impeached doesn't mean guilty, that's what people don't always understand. He'll be impeached and acquitted. It's like being indicted and acquitted in a criminal case.

@lescobrandon6327 I care! I'm not voting for him but I do care that he got rid of NAFTA, didn't invade Iran, and... I'm sure there are other good things. Oh yeah- trashing the press, that's awesome! It's crucial to find fault with your friends and value in your opponents. The reverse is easy. Work that brain!

@ibperson7765 Yes, it's a technical point, but he's not "Impeached" until the House brings charges to the senate for trial.

@slewone4905 I'd be happy to see Joe, Hunter, Nunes, and whoever else testify. There are also newly released emails from Trump. On the other hand, it could all end yesterday and that'd be fine too. But if there's going to be a skunk beauty contest, I'm in!

@jamieoconnor41652 I don't think she'll have a choice, politically. She'll have to submit them or her party will revolt. It will be awesome TV if they subpoena Joe and Hunter! I think the Dems should grin and bear it. Odds are, it will play in Joe's favor, just as (some say) the proceedings against Trump have helped him. To be equitable, if the GOP gets Hunter and Joe, the Dems should get a couple of them White House holdouts to testify, the deadbeats.

ALMOST true. He's considered Impeached when the House votes to impeach and there is a trial in the senate, regardless of the Senate vote. In other words, if Trump wins in the Senate, we could say "Trump was impeached and acquitted, like Clinton was."

@battistimo yeah, I haven't seen one actual argument for or against the lawyer's thesis in the comment section yet. Step 1: google consitution...

lol so it's a "hoax" because the process is going by... normal procedure? If Nancy never delivers the Articles to the Senate then I will admit you were right.

@RicArmstrong She's following normal procedure, but not if she delays for months. The Lawyer dude himself said she was doing what's normal for the Congress. There's often a days or weeks sending bills and whatnot between Senate and House. The Lawyer dude also said the Constitution does not specify how Impeachment is supposed to be moved from House to Senate. I read the sections just now, he's right of course. There are only a few sentences covering the entire impeachment process. There's nothing on how much time the House has, and nothing requiring the House to ever present charges at all.

@SPAZZOID100 The "normal procedure" we're talking about is a delay in transmitting bills between Senate and House. She could wait a couple weeks, then hand over the articles with some appointed representatives to present them to the House.

The House shall have sole power of Impeachment. The Senate has no way to require the House to do it or not do it. On the other hand, Dems in the House might have some case against Pelosi if she doesn't do anything.
