  1. Agree the Executive is too powerful. I often agree with Obama but where he errs it's often in the direction of more secret use of power. The Legislative has been gerrymandered very badly, which takes away competition and our choice of candidates. We can fix that at the state level.

  2. "Hillary Clinton has the support of 31 percent of likely voters under 35, Trump has 26 percent." So I agree but this time is not just a single election -- more like the next 10 or 20 years, demographically the parties will have to change or go fly to the moon. If we can convince older people like me then it can happen sooner... poor Bernie, he would have done it too! What a chance. But a near miss means it can happen! And the demographics mean that it will. But... how are we going to make sure that we don't replace the old goons with new goons?

  3. The D party is also dissolving, especially if Hillary wins. Both parties may just re-form into what they were... for a while, but they have both fundamentally failed to deal with the advent of the information age. 'Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain' didn't even work in oz! Ironic, in pursuit of total information awareness, the duopoly has constructed a global insecurity infrastructure that is now leaking their secrets on a weakly basis. bwahahaha, doh!

  4. i think that's kinda what Jimmy was saying about the corporatists not trusting Trump, that's why they are supporting Hillary. Trump is a loose cannon. He's total corporate, but he's his own corporation...
