Service Dog Good point, some papers need to re-do their meta analysis with the Elgazzar data removed. Nevertheless, many trials besides Elgazzar found benefits. My point remains. There is SOME evidence from randomized clinical trials that find major benefit. I'm not saying it works. There is some evidence but it is not conclusive...

Yes. Got two shots. Much research supports 1v3r benefits, and also many studies find no effect. I see no review that finds net harm.

@mitchellcotton7346 I found ~ 10 meta-analyses. ~6 found major benefit, ~4 found no effect. ref: google scholar, year = 2021, terms: ivermectin covid review

@dineshemohanarajah809 Fair points! The following article examines that exact issue. It concludes, "ivermectin can be considered as an option for the treatment of COVID-19" Udaykumar P, Shetty B, Kundapur A. Drug interactions of ivermectin with a focus on COVID-19 treatment. @dineshemohanarajah809 The problem is that correlation is not causation. Thus, randomized trials are needed. This study reviews 15 such studies: Bryant et al, Am J Ther. 2021 Jul-Aug; 28(4): e434–e460

@zacksulics8021 At least, the podcast gives you something to ask the doctor about. The nightly news are saying "don't ask, don't search."
