  1. 14 days is about right, it takes a week or two before cases show up in the haphazard collection of numbers we call "confirmed cases." . That said, I do not see a TG surge in the data. I see a single curve, with dips for lapses in reporting, but no spike on top of spike. . They news doesn't really care, they write headlines for clicks.
