@hamwhacker The false positive rate for the PCR test is extremely small -- it must be < 0.6% according to the nationwide study in Iceland (random invitation study a couple months ago). . The concern for false positives is quite valid, though. Even a low false positive rate can turn up many false positive tests, if millions of people are getting tested! .

Define "data."

9:00 that math seems wrong. If herd immunity is reached at 70%, we're 1/7th of the way through, not 100%
1
50% + 10% = 60%, very close to herd immunity where outbreaks tend to die away instead of grow...

I think it is 100% certain they were once independent organisms. How exactly they fused, there are different theories.

2 per million cases? . Sure the zeros aren't reprodudicing?

@robertlivingston360 PCR has a very, very low false positive rate (< 0.6%)

Yes you are right, the herd immunity is the "through it" point.

Yes, but the response is the reason why the virus isn't so bad. .

Antibody testing is a well established method. It is cheap, easy, and extremely accurate. . It would be great to test for t-cells too, but testing for t-cells specific to Covid may or may not be possible. I know they can count t-cells, but how do they know if it is a covid-fighter or some other type?

Sure but "can" is different from "does" What kind of data should it collect? What type should it not collect?

@WvhKerkhof Six months is "not much time?" lololololo . Tell me how many dog trainers there are that are certified for this work. .
