all the rules seem tailored for cities. small towns and rural areas, we're adapting the rules to fit reality. there's nobody within a quarter mile if I go walk, to the golf course so I walk as much as I want to. gas is not in short supply, so i drive to the mountains and hike. this is good for things I think.

Leptonaut Everyone's numbers are garbage, for a variety of reasons. However, it appears that China is getting back to work, so they clearly have passed the first wave of infections. Studies are looking at everything from air pollution sensed from satellite to mass transit lines open to product shipments, and China is maybe 80% capacity now. This is GREAT news! (PS similar outside estimates agree with you that Chinese numbers are way too low. Taiwan said China had maybe 24,000 deaths instead of 3000. But they are past the first wave and working, from what I understand)

Leptonaut ok, good to have first hand reports, so what's going on there? PS I wasn't referring to data from China, only to data ABOUT China from external sources, such as satellites)

@Benzknees There is a vaccine for a couple of animal Coronaviruses (one for chickens, one for cows).

@raptorman48 Industrial meat production can cause diseases, just as wild meat markets can. Mad Cow, Swine Flu, and Bird Flu are three recent examples. We need our meat and veggies to be healthy and happy!

Most Covid cases have fever. Most colds don't. Also, Covid is typically a dry cough, not a runny nose, and not a cough where you actually cough up a lot of stuff. Fever was the single most common symptom in Covid, more than coughs or anything else.
