If anything, a lower death rate, the would hasten herd immunity.

@Thaigaspice I thought herd immunity was when R<1 due to many people being immune. . If R<1 then outbreaks should tend to die out, not increase. The graphs at worldometers seem to indicate that herd immunity is not arrived in most countries. . However, the low death rates may indicate that humanity and the virus are learning to live together more harmoniously! Herd immunity might be a lot less costly than projected a few months ago. . The virus may be evolving to be less deadly, and people are definitely learning public health and hygiene.

@Thaigaspice Yes, true! R can be below 1 for various reasons. Herd immunity is just one reason R can be less than 1. .

Skin is anti-microbial. . in general the virus load has a half life and after X hours it is undetectible. that X hours is the reported number.

Or put zinc in their beards, which is even better. Zinc and oak, for the quercetin.

Jacquelynn Booth yes, for worms in dogs, also in people, cattle and horses, and also for ectoparasites like lice. . Ivermectin is one of the most common human and animal drugs in the world. "Half of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded jointly to Campbell and Ōmura for discovering avermectin," It's over-the-counter in the US for your horse or pony. I saw tubes at Big R. It is on the WHO short list of essential medicines. . Some dogs should not be given ivermictin. "White feet don't treat." Look it up if it applies.

I have not heard anything like 28 days. . A few days on some surfaces, a few hours on others (cardboard).

Scientists aren't using the daily counts of tests to extrapolate to the population at large, because that would be improper. . News and everyone else is doing that, but look to google scholar and search "random covid" for the real scientific estimates.
