  5.  @carlsmith1263  When you create something original like a song and publish it (like uploading it to your youtube channel), it is automatically copyrighted. . You do have to apply for patents and trademarks, but not copyrights.

  10. That is incorrect. Copyrighted material is broadcast nightly. Every commercial has it. Every show has it. There's no universal ban on copyrighted material on the airwaves. . That wouldn't even make sense. .
