  2.  @russhamilton3800  electromagnetism and gravity have the same relation with distance, inverse square. they both have infinite range. but i agree with your first point, because gravity can be stronger in some circumstances.

  4. Early in quark history, some people wanted to call it Beauty instead of Bottom. It is not new, but it is outdated. Same with Top vs Truth.

  5.  @ExistenceUniversity  The fields are probably unified, but I'm not sure that is settled. A graph of the 'running of the constants' appears to show that they have the same strength at a certain very high energy. But that energy has not been tested. It sure would be nice if they can be unified mathematically.
