yes! Of all those things, knowledge / wisdom is the best. We learned the germ theory, and it's best application is hygeine. Malaria was in the US up to New England, but was eliminated by screens on windows and isolating cases in hospital etc. Under the "bad air" theory screens would be useless...

it might be good at 400 (where it is now) or 500, once things stabilise. rapid change is always hard even if it's in a good direction

I find it's often great on anything that is not controversial or political

Technology comes form curiosity. A technically advanced alien would likely be curious about earth. When we study animals, we observe and try to not disturb them, except for catching and releasing some to sample for measurements. Does this fit their reported behavior?

LOR is the 3rd age, we are in the 4th, Matrix is the 5th age

have you seen the PBS SPacetime episode "The New Warp Drive Possibilities"?

Let's say aliens are somewhat like us. We are curious creatures. Perhaps they came to study earth. When we study birds, we try to not disturb the behavior. But we also catch some and take measurements and samples. This fits pretty well with their supposed behavior.

commies didn't exist in WWI. it was the royalist capitalists that ruined Germany and then prevented it to recover. Then in WWII democratic capitalists ruined Germany but helped it rebuild and then they were our ally The commies were horrible though.

yup. and it's not like they stay hidden all the time.
1
yup, curiosity would be logical. if they wanted to know how things work here, they would try to not disturb them too much
