  7.  @jpw9560  I am actually finding about five meta analyses that show major benefit, and about an equal number showing no effect. Every single one says they need more, better data. "We shall see!" is a valid response. Seth's "Horse wormer MAGA dopes" is not.

  24.  @peterjones4180  From my searches today, ivermectin has tremendous support in recent high quality research. This seems to be a case where politics on both sides is sacrificing people for power. Nothing new, but terrible even so.

I have also seen organziations totally disfunctional, like they don't even want to succeed (e.g. a school I taught at). There was a reason. Someone was benefiting, just not the kids or the teachers. To the leaders today, I would ask, "You really want crap for your kids?" Because if society goes sour, every person suffers, even the rich and powderfull.
