@Reach41 I'm not saying it's true, I'm saying that whatsisname has his scientists telling him that half COULD catch it in the future, and those scientist are epidemiologists.
They use a logistic growth equation basically, or if you want to get fancy simulate on a computer. The true percent in fact will depend HUGELY on how we isolate, test, vaccinate etc.
Half infected is not all bad, either. Mathematically, once you get to half a population that has survived a germ, the infection rate has to be going down due to herd immunity.
Someday most everyone will either have survived it or got vaccinated. So that's a good thing, as both classes then have some immunity and there's low death rates in total, like a normal flu. Maybe we'll even eliminate it like we did smallpox and polio.
