  1. Last year I saw periodic flashes. One series stayed in the same spot for half an hor, with a 2 minute period. The other was in the same spot for four flashes then moved left for two more, with a 20 second period. Colors varied flash to flash. I investigated possible satellite scenarios but haven't found a match.

  2.  @wombat2248  Cool i think i will get an app! Now to be simple, if it moves in a straight line and takes some minutes to cross the sky, it could be a satellite. They can fade in and out when they reflect the sun at different angles as they rotate, or going b3hind clouds. But if it changes direction, it's not a satellite.
