  2.  @2canines  "generations are just a few years for this animals" I agree. The scientist prob. studied this deer movement for 3+ years and saw that each new generation uses the same pathway, even ones that don't go with the parents. It's exactly liek rocket science, but without rockets. But why guess, right? I'm sure Nat Geo linked to the scientific study. Ooor not.

  3.  @thomasmaughan4798  It is possible to make the fence so deer and elk can pass, but cattle cannot. Enough gap at the bottom deer can go under, whereas cows are notoriously under performing in the limbo.

  4. yup. and caribou. pretty far for a deer tho, right? Maybe it is the longest large animal migration known today in the lower 48.
