@trailersfromhell2539 Yes, dragonsangel is blaming the victim, just like the short skirt argument.

@pri.sci.lla. He fired at people who were trying to kill him. They came onto his friends property, yelled at him, told him they were going to kill him, and called him and his friends "f*ck* n****rs"

@dennismoon6693 To me the point is, the people who attacked him were thugs, not protestors. They acted like thugs that night, and their record shows similar action in the past against innocent women and children. Kyle of course only saw their actions that night. That was enough for self defense. since they were attacking him and yelling insults and threats.

He was at a friend's business. Do we have to wait for thugs to get us alone? Or can we defend our homes and businesses together?

@Mama_Bear524 Is it flawed to aspire to service professions? lol

He shot a guy with a pistol, a guy with a knife, and a guy that hit him in the head with a skateboard. The people attacking him were armed and yelling threats.

@simongiles9749 Correct, the Khindri sons said they didn't ask Kyle to defend the place. However, they posed with Kyle for a picture on the car lot, and didn't ask him to leave. Kyle met Sahil Khindri earlier that day, exchanged phone numbers earlier, so... acquaintances, rather than friends. So I amend my statement: he was defending a minority owned business, with the knowledge of the business owners, who he met earlier that day. He was not "defending a friend's business" as I said earlier. As usual, the truth is more complex and interesting than the first impressions.

I doubt the veracity of that rule. If I run a red light, I am fair game for other drivers to attack me? I can't defend myself because I broke a law? Nope, I call BS.

@proudgrannyjoanfleming8860 He was protecting his friends property.

@kuruptzZz Fair point! What Kyle did was legal, brave, perhaps compassionate, but was it wise? On the other hand, the rioters might have killed someone if he wasn't there, so idk. They were yelling "going to kill you" and "f*** you n***rs" There's a time to stand up... but was it that time?
