  11. yeah that animation is awful. it seems to show each atom as a ball, bit it's wrong in scale and number of atoms, and presumably every other detail as well

  17. it is passed on from generation to generation by learning instinct is innate, passed on genetically some behaviors are learned each generation anew ps I am not an expert that's just my understanding of it at a most basic level

  23.  @Yvolve  yeah a lot of the change is probably random. but if there's a gene for being able to drink coca cola without an elevated risk of bone breakage, it could be strongly favored in the current environment
