  1. To be fair to the juror; when I was completing a background check with the FBI years back the form asked whether I had ever been arrested and I said NO. An agent then calls me to follow up and asks me again if I had ever been arrested and I told her yes, that I had just turned 21 and got arrested for being a dumb kid on Halloween but I was not convicted and the charges were dismissed. The agent wanted to know why I didn’t disclose that on the form. I explained that I honestly misread the form thinking that it was asking about convictions like I had seen on previous job application forms. She then basically said not to let it happen again but that’s because it was a genuine error on my part. I don’t think it would have gone as well if I had been deliberately misleading them. 🙃:_mighty:
